Meta Data: Introduction

Entries in WebGenesis are not static HTML pages, they are generated dynamically from meta data in a database (together with layout information).

Meta data includes control information and certain facts concerning an entry:

• automatic data (entry number, creator, Editor)
• general information (name, title, ordering, seq.no.),
• keywords,
• abstract and text,
• expiration date,
• additional data, see Special Features of your Server)

You get to the meta data edit form by selecting the option Meta Data in the menu Entry:
