Abstract:
The abstract is used in lists of subordinate entries, and appears underneath the title. It should give a short description of the subordinate entry:

Text:
The actual content of an entry is the text. The text is displayed, when using the standard layout (or specific layouts) for the entry, but not when it is replaced explicitly by an alternate layout.)

- Please note the available Design Features.
-
To easily enter internal links (to entries, pictures or content files) into
the abstract or the text you can use the link browser:
To open the link browser simply click on the anchor symbolabove the abstract field or text field.
Use the left part of the link browser to navigate through the entry hierarchy. If you click on the name of an entry the right part of the link browser will show the available links which can be created for this entry (to the entry itself, to pictures and content files of the entry). To add a link to the abstract or text simply click on the anchor symbol or on the name of the entry, picture or content file in the right part. - If no text was entered when creating or editing an entry, the abstract is shown instead of the text.
- You can repeat the abstract at the beginning of the text by typing +! at the beginning of the text (first line).
