Changing individual rights:

Individual rights are changed in the field Currently assigned Access Rights:

change access rights

On the left side you can find a list showing the currently assigned access rights. When selecting an individual right the corresponding user name appears in the field Group/User. At the same time the currently assigned access right is shown in the pull-down menu Access Rights.
You can change access rights by selecting one of the following attributes:

Full Access: allows a user/group to execute all operations on an entry: show, read, edit, modify, remove, and especially Transfer an entry to a new owner and change access rights. Also the import and export function can be used.
Full Access (without change access): like Full Access but forbids to modify the access rights.
Add and Modify: allows new entries to be created, and existing subordinate entries to be viewed, read and modified.
Add: allows new subordinate entries to be created. The new entries are owned by the creator, who has full access rights to them. This right includes viewing and reading the entry and its subordinate entries. Note: For discussion forums this access right should be set for all users wanting to take part in the discussion. Specially for the group Any, if it is an open forum.
Read and Modify: allows - beside viewing and reading - the modification of an entry. You can change the meta data, set an alternative representation, or remove an entry. This access right does not include adding new subordinate entries.
Read: allows to an entry to be read, i.e. to view the standard or alternate layout.
This right includes displaying an entry in a directory and also displaying subordinate entries (if rights have not been changed explicitly there).
Display: in this case only the title and the short description are shown in directories or lists. You may not read entries.
No Access: users and groups may neither see nor read the current entry (and therefore may not modify, remove, or transfer it to another user.)

The changes are not saved in WebGenesis until you click on the button Save.
