Import

Via the option Import in the menu Edit you have the possibility to add entries into the WebGenesis structure (only if you have acces rights. If this is not the case the option Import is colored grey and not accessable).

In order to import entries you have to use the option Contents to upload a XML-file of the entry you want to add.
(If you want to import entries with layout and/or contents you have to create a ZIP folder.)

Hint: To find out about the structure of the XML data to import. Simply do an Export on an existing entry and check out the resulting data.

After uploading the files into the Contents the XML-file is listed in the import form:

Here you can either add more files or select a file in the scroll field and complete the import by clicking on the button Analyse.
If the analysing succeeded and the XML file was correct you will see how much entries from the file can be imported otherwise some error messages are shown.

By clicking on the Import button you finally import the entries from the XML-file as new subordinate entries of the current entry.
