Export of Entries
Via the option Export in the menu Entry you get to the export form. You can export the current entry with all its data and even all his subordinate entries:

Note:
You can only export an entry if you have access rights to it. If this is not the
case the option Export is colored grey and not accessable.
Export rights can not be set explicitly. Each user automatically owns export
rights to his/her entries. Users with the status superuser can export all
entries.
-
Data of the entry:
The meta data of the current entry is written to a XML-file (eXtensible Markup Language). -
Data of all sub entries:
If this option is selected all subordinate entries you have access rights to will be added to the XML-file. -
Layout- / Content- files:
Selecting these options will add the additional data to the ZIP folder (including the XML file). The contents files have the following relative path:./contents/<Entry Number>/
and for the layout files the relative path:./docs/<Entry Number>/
When selecting the Export button WebGenesis creates a ZIP folder including all files that you want to export. You can save this ZIP folder to your local disk.
